Affiliate marketing for stay at home moms works well because it enables women to turn their passion into profit. Because the “store” is on the Internet and never closes, women can earn money 24 hours a day 7 days a week. For women who want to stay at home full time with their children while earning extra cash, affiliate marketing offers the bridge that connects the best of both worlds.
What is an affiliate program? Thousands of online businesses set up affiliate programs to have people promote their products or services. When you sign up for an affiliate program you receive a username and password to their affiliate website where you usually can find many links, banners or buttons, and even articles with your own unique id / url embedded into it.
Promoting affiliate programs does have a way to bring in multiple residual income streams. Believe me, it’s not a get rich quick scheme. In fact, for it to be successful it does take a great deal of dedicated work and time commitment. Trying new ways of marketing it to your target audience is a great way to see what works and what does not.
You then promote the affiliate program (links) on your website and drive traffic to the businesses website. Draw visitors to your website with your content. A great way to spread the word is to send monthly newsletters to your members that interest them. Don’t forget to include your affiliate links in your newsletters as well.
The best part you never handle sales or products, but each time an interested prospect visits the website through your link and actually purchases something you earn a commission for referred business.
